The Challenge

A community development organization operating in remote areas needed to train field staff on health, education, and livelihood programs. In-person training was expensive and logistically difficult. Field workers had limited internet connectivity, making traditional e-learning platforms unusable.

Our Solution

We delivered a combined public website for donor transparency and an internal LMS for staff and volunteer training, all accessible on low-bandwidth connections via a Progressive Web App. The micro-learning modules are designed for 5-10 minute sessions that work offline.

Our Approach

We prioritized low-bandwidth optimization from day one. The PWA caches course content locally, syncs progress when connectivity returns, and uses minimal data transfer. Micro-learning modules are broken into digestible 5-10 minute segments perfect for field workers between site visits.

The Impact

Over 200 field staff trained across 50+ remote locations. Training costs reduced by 65% by eliminating travel and venue expenses. New hire onboarding time was cut in half. Program consistency improved across all regions with standardized training content.
